Tell us what has happened and what you want to happen about it. We will come back with what the job involves, who carries it out and what it costs, in writing, before you commit to anything.
You get one of three answers before any money is spent:
A tribunal date, a limitation date, a contract you are being pressed to sign this week — put the date in the first line of your message so we can deal with it first.
Choose a slot in the diary. The call is thirty minutes and free, and you will know by the end what your matter is and roughly what it costs.
See available times →Use WhatsApp for a quick question. Please do not send documents or anything confidential this way until we have agreed how to handle them.
Message us →The free healthcheck scores eight areas in about eight minutes and gives you a written list.
Take the healthcheck →We read what you have sent, work out whether it is something Buzz Legal handles or a matter for AD Solicitors, and arrange an initial conversation at a convenient time. When we come back to you, you get an answer on three things: whether the work is something we can do or something that needs a regulated firm, who will be doing it and under whose regulation, and what it will cost and what that price includes, in writing, before it starts. If we need the document itself, we ask for it then rather than expecting you to attach it to the form. Nothing begins until you have approved the scope and the price,
Yes, and we tell you at the scoping stage, before you have committed to anything or spent any money. The trigger is one of three things: the matter is reserved, such as a court claim, conveyancing or probate; it is already contentious, with solicitors instructed on the other side or proceedings threatened; or a document needs a solicitor's involvement to work at all. Reserved legal activities for Buzz Legal clients are carried out by AD Solicitors, authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority under SRA no. 8011228. Because AD Solicitors is already connected to Buzz Legal, whoever picks up the reserved side has seen the file.
You know before anything starts. Defined jobs are quoted as a fixed fee, agreed in writing first, and the published starting prices are a contract review from £249 +VAT, a terms and conditions package from £695 +VAT, an employment starter pack from £895 +VAT, a shareholder agreement from £1,250 +VAT and HR policies with a staff handbook from £1,495 +VAT. The monthly subscriptions are Foundations at £49 +VAT, Business Legal at £249 +VAT and Virtual HR Manager at £499 +VAT. If something falls outside the agreed scope, we stop and re-quote, and you are billed only for work you approved.
Yes. Enquiry details, documents and correspondence are handled under UK GDPR: general enquiries are kept for up to 12 months, prospective client records for up to 24 months, and client files for typically six years after the relationship ends. Data is shared only where there is a real reason — our own team and advisers, our IT and hosting providers, and AD Solicitors or another authorised firm where a matter is handed over. This site uses Google Analytics only if you accept the cookie banner, and we run no advertising cookies at all. Legal professional privilege is a separate question from confidentiality and is not something we can assume applies to advice that does not come from a qualified lawyer, so if privilege matters, raise it at the outset.
